Ballard Home

Area info:  Ballard Neighborhood - aka "Adams" or Ballard Proper

This Ballard area is best known for mixed use of properties: from townhouses, apartments and high rise condos to turn of the century homes.  Walk downtown to Market street and enjoy the coffee shops, clothing stores and excellent restaurants.  This area used to be downtown, before Ballard became part of the city of Seattle.  Now it is a neighborhood hub.  The stores are gaining popularity and it is the place to be during the week.  On Sundays Ballard hosts a Farmers Market where local vendors come to sell their fruits, vegetables and various items.  It's like a mini Pike Place Market (without the fish throwing).
